Documenting the cultural Heritage of Suai-Camenaca

Between 2014 and 2015 Timor Aid conducted a key piece of reach into was the cultural heritage of the Suai-Camenaça, in Covalima district in Timor-Leste.
The research was supported by the Cultural Emergency Response Programme of the Prince Claus Fund for Culture and Development to document the rich tradition communities about to be relocated to make way for national industrial infrastructure.
This exhibition is the continuation of a previous exhibition held in Melbourne, Australia in partnership with the Friends of Suai, City of Port Phillip, to showcase the results of the research done in Covalima and the richness of their heritage.The exhibition was supported by the Cultural Emergency Response Programme of the Prince Claus Fund for Culture and Development, Secretary of Estate for Tourism, Art and Culture (SETAC) and Office of Prime Minister through the Unit of Civil Society Support (UASC).
