Are you a writer with a good story to tell?
Pick up your pen and get writing if so because this year’s Istoria Timor story writing competition is now open.
What should I write about?
You can write a story about anything – it can be true or make-believe. The only requirements are that your story is written in Tetun and more than 10,000 words.
Prizes
First prize: $500
Second prize: $250
Third prize: $100
Best story by a woman: $500
How to entry your story
Entries are due by 31 August 2011.
You can email you story to: istoriatimor@timoraid.org or deliver a copy to the Timor Aid or Alola Foundation office in Dili.
