Tetun Classes at Timor Aid

Timor Aid teaches Tetun as a second lanuguage. Enrol for individual classes at your preferred time here at Timor Aid or apply for a group price in your workplace.

Computer Centre

Since 2008 Timor Aid has offered classes and computer access to school aged children of Dili.

Classes have finished for 2010 and will resume in January 2011

Vice Minister for Education Launches Civic Education Reference Books

Student Books prepared by Timor Aid

On 8 March, the Vice Minister for Education launched civic education reference books developed by Timor Aid and funded by Eni.
The books, which have been developed in consultation with the Ministry of Education universities, schools, local government and NGOs, explains institutions and principles important to civil society such as democracy, human rights, religion and culture.
At the launch, the Vice Minister said the civic education reference books, which include student textbooks and teaching training manuals, will be an important guide on the way to developing a civic education curriculum.
The books will now be distributed to over 200 pre-secondary and secondary schools across Timor Leste.
