Tais feto wal mean (TE) Woman's tubeskirt

Woven in Suai - Camenaca in Portuguese times by Bei Solo. It contains the typical motifs, 'baria fuan' and 'diman hitu', done with the resist-dyed ikat technique. The ikat band is bordered by supplementary weft 'foit' work with the 'karau matan' and 'silu kesak' motifs. This cloth was made for a person of high status.
