Beti nanaf (BU) Shoulder cloth
This textile is from the Nitibe, Bobometo, Bobkase, Saben areas of Oecusse. It was presumably intended as the centre panel of a man's bet bose cloth. This white centre panel textile with diamond shape motifs occurs also in Bikomi, especially Nimasi village in West Timor. The work includes the pa'uf motif, which represents a fish tail. The textile is a single panel with an untwisted fringe.
