Bet bose (BU) Man's cloth wrap
This tais is decorated with mapa'uf motifs, which are reserved for higher status people in the community. This cloth took 6 months to make. It is a three panel cloth with an untwisted fringe. The level of decoration on the centre panel is a marker of the value of the cloth. Bet bose cloths with an undecorated white central panel are worn by the 'common people'. The ends of the centre panel are decorated with a twining technique.
