Tais duka (TE) Man's cloth wrap
This textile has intricate resist-dyed motifs across the whole cloth, including the motifs 'babat musan' , 'inan rua' and also repeats of 4 of the 'spearhead', 'diman' motif, both large and small. There are rows of 2 'diman' on the sides. There are also small pieces of 'futus' The cloth is used in ceremonies, and in 'barlake', marriage exchange, together with 'tais klar' and 'tais na'in Nurak'. It takes up to 3 months to make a textile such as this. .
