Tais feto wal metan (TE) Woman's tubeskirt
This woman's cloth includes the motifs 'baria fuan' and 'kait' and the 'diman neen'. The supplementary weft work bordering the resist-dyed motifs 'silu kesak', 'riin tolu' and in the centre five rows of 'lesu oan'. This cloth is worn by women participating in the 'Sau Batar' and the 'Bei Mau' ceremonies which are performed when corn is harvested. This 'tais' is only worn at night. The textile comes from the village of Fatuisin in Camenaca.
