Tais feto (TE) Woman's tubeskirt
This woman's tubeskirt has a plain-coloured centre-fied with a decorative band at the head and foot of the skirt. This is typical of Suai Camenaça women's textiles. The decorative band has a central section in warp-ikat ('futus') technique, with a border of warp-float ('foit') on either side. The main ikat motif on this tubeskirt is the 'lakulo' motif with the wild bean shell ('ahan kakun') and forked branch ('sanak') motifs on the float-warp borders.
